Length: 40 miles, mostly on-road route

Grade: Generally flat. Some spotted hills of moderate grade.
Trail condition: Good. Most roads for on-road sections are well paved.

Special characteristics: This route serves nearly all areas of one of Rhode Island's most populous cities. areas of both communities. Despite moderate congestion in this suburban area, it is easy to move from section to section. Numerous waterfront areas are accessible.

Natural attractions nearby: Boating and swimming, wildlife observation, parks with ball fields and parks with large picnic and gathering areas. Walking trails in City Park (Buttonwoods).

Historical attractions nearby: Historic civic buildings and homes in villages, small museums.

Services nearby: Shops, restaurants, grocery stores, schools, libraries, art galleries, bike shop.

Directions: From Route 95, take Exit 10 or 10A to Warwick. Numerous parking options.

East Greenwich

Length: About 10 miles, mostly on-road route

Grade: A mix of flat and very steep sections. Routes that pass through the historical district are hilly. Route toward Goddard Memorial Park is generally flat.

Trail condition: Good. Most roads for on-road sections are well paved.

Special characteristics: This route serves the Main Street area of town with access to immediately surrounding areas. Provides link to waterfront areas and Goddard Memorial State Park in the Potowomut section of Warwick. A dedicated path segment and river crossing is in the planning stages.

Natural attractions nearby: Boating and swimming, wildlife observation, parks with ball fields
and parks with large picnic and gathering areas. Walking trails in Goddard Memorial State Park.

Historical attractions nearby: Historic civic buildings and homes in Main Street area.

Services nearby: Shops, restaurants, grocery stores, schools, library.

Directions: From Route 95, take Exit 8 to Division Street to East Greenwich. Limited timed on-street parking. Best parking at schools or Goddard Park.
